Tensions were high during Friday’s episode of The View, resulting in a swift end to the co-hosts’ interview with GOP candidate Kim Klacik.

As seen in the video below (with a slightly longer version here), Klacik, the current Republican nominee for Maryland’s 7th congressional district, had just finished addressing the coronavirus pandemic when the interview became heated. Klacik asserted that President Bill Clinton’s administration had been responsible for sending biotech and manufacturing jobs overseas years ago, resulting in a lack of preparedness to handle the pandemic in the United States this year.

David Harbour: Hopper’s ‘Stranger Things 4’ Resurrection Is Like Gandalf in ‘Lord of the Rings’

David Harbour: Hopper’s ‘Stranger Things 4’ Resurrection Is Like Gandalf in ‘Lord of the Rings’
When “Stranger Things” finally returns to Netflix with its highly anticipated fourth season, the show will have to answer its biggest question yet: How did Hopper survive the “Stranger Things 3” finale? The last fans saw of David Harbour’s fan favorite character, he was sacrificing himself to close the gate between the Upside Down and Hawkins. Then came the “Stranger Things 4” teaser trailer, which revealed Hopper had somehow survived and was now a prisoner in Russia. How is that possible? Whatever the answer may be, Harbour tells Total Film magazine his resurrection arc will be similar to Gandalf’s in “The Lord of the Rings” franchise.

“I’ve had those discussions with [the Duffer brothers] from the very first season,” Harbour said. “We were always interested in that idea of the Gandalf resurrection – Gandalf the Grey who fights the Balrog and then becomes Gandalf the White. It’s the idea of the resurrection of the character.

How Netflix’s ‘Ratched’ Production Design Team Built the Sinister Glam World
Ryan Murphy had a very specific look in mind for Lucia State Hospital, a mental institution that’s at the center of his new Netflix series, “Ratched” (premiering Sept. 18), a “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” prequel and origin story for Nurse Ratched (Sarah Paulson) that takes place in 1947.

“He wanted the hospital not to seem like a hospital, but to be a very glamorous hotel that had been converted into a hospital,” says Oscar- and Emmy-nominated production designer Judy Becker, who has also worked with Murphy on “Feud: Bette and Joan,” “American Crime Story” and “Pose.” “The kind of

‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ Is Limited by Its Host’s Stardom: TV Review

‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ Is Limited by Its Host’s Stardom: TV Review
The best talk show hosts are made into stars by the medium. To wit: Rosie O’Donnell was a well-known comic and actor but hardly the dynamo she eventually became when she began her daily show. She reinvented the medium that had, before her, been dominated by former local news anchor Oprah Winfrey. Both these stars did not bring to bear huge amounts of persona that was already known to the audience, so they had to work to carry across an idea of themself with each episode and segment. At their best, you walked away from their shows knowing O’Donnell
